I supposed one should have a great deal of luck after surviving such a gastronomical combination as black-eyed peas and cabbage!

I just finished reading Keeping Faith and I thought it was wonderful. A delight to read. I look forward to reading the next installment.

May you have a productive and prosperous 2010!

PS: I also enjoy reading your blogs.

Let's see, I think I've made that same resolution several years in a row. Maybe this year it will stick.

Up north they eat saurkraut. Jan and I had pork, cabbage and black eyed peas. I covered all the bases. I hope that 2010 is wonderful for all of us.

I don't think I thought about the next morning as we were pouring that champagne last night! We are fine today though. However, I don't think I have ever put on under eye concealer on my upper lids until this morning. In fact, most of my face could have used it! Thanks again for the great hospitality!!!
