I can’t imagine a $42.00 drink of any kind, although I have had two bottles of $130.00+ Dom Perigon wine, but they were a gift to me from a friend who had more money than sense. I am so uncool I made hamburgers to go with. Nothing pretentious there! It was good, but couldn’t really tell that much difference in it and a 20.00 bottle of champagne. Maybe I could get used to it though!!! I willing to try!!

Sounds like you guys had a great time and by your description it sounds beautiful. I can’t imagine spending $42 on A margarita, but I’m sure I could run up a tab. I sure would like to see the town all lit up with the little lanterns and Christmas lights.

My second book, due out probably in late March or April, has the main character visiting Santa Fe. There are several pages devoted to your great little city. Sounds wonderful – I remember visiting Santa Fe with my parents when I was younger and visiting the beautiful churches…would love to go back one day. Enjoy and drink a margarita for me!

There are lots of casinos!!!!!!And there are several on the drive there. Yes, the margaritas are great; maybe stronger than Garcia’s. Carlene had to take a nap after her margarita and tequila tasting!!!

That sure makes me want to go to Santa Fe. Did they have a casino? The margaritas sound similar to Garcia’s in Matamoras. Are they stronger than those?
