Class of 69-I was 1 when you graduated. You may not believe this but we had a party line too and the sad thing is it still exists in Reese Texas. I wanted a cordless phone when I was in middle school and we had to get a private line in order for it to work. There was a lady that we were friends with and kept me when I was little. The last time I was at her house the phone rang but it was not her phone, it was the party line.

Believe it or not, every once in awhile I’ll find myself watching the Lawrence Welk show…and actually enjoying it.

Don’t forget filling up at Shamrock and getting a free drinking glass, either regular or with a stemmed one — by the way I still have 2 of those glasses — smoke colored!!!
