Book Signing in South Padre
Although I was tremendously excited for my first book signing of Keeping Faith, which was held at Atticus in Ruidoso, NM, I am totally giddy about tomorrow’s signing at “Paragraphs on Padre.”
After all, South Padre is home, and hopefully, many of my friends will join me to share in my excitement. What makes it really special is my agent, Chris, is flying in from Houston as are my friends Iris and Paul.
The first signing is from 1:00-2:00, and then the owner has asked if I will return at 6:00-7:30 for book signings, discussions about how and why I wrote the book, and Q&A. Wine and cheese will be served at the evening event. If you are in the area, please stop by this warm and friendly bookstore right on Padre Blvd. It’s a beautiful, charming recent addition to the island, and a great place to find your favorite book and even enjoy it in one of the comfortable chairs. If you are miles away and can’t be here, then please wish me luck.

Paragraphs on Padre
I will be there! From what I can tell, it will be a party. Be there or be square!
Lots and lots of luck and know tons of people will show up! The place looks amazing – just my cup of tea!
Certainly wish you luck Cindy girl !!! Hope all good Blessings come your way.
Wish we were closer we would for sure, be there.
What a beautiful , cozy looking bookstore to have a signing and what a nice touch to have the evening event. Can’t wait to read about it in your blog.
Take Care.
Thank you all. It’s raining cats and dogs so people may not want to get out. Let’s hope the promise of free wine and cheese will bring out the “winter Texans.” They usually will go anywhere there is something free! Buying the book, well, that’s a different story!!!
I know it will be a huge success! Have fun – wish I could be there.
You are the only friend I have who has had a “book signing.” Tremendously proud of you – and I know your parents would be proud. Savor the moment!!!
We are so proud of you. Hope you’ll be able to have a signing in Houston. I’m sure I can find you a “quaint spot” with some wine and cheese.
I’m ready for book number 2.
I have been a reader for a long while, but this is my first time as a commenter. I just wanted to say that this has been / is my favorite post of yours! Keep up the good work and I’ll keep on checking back.
Hi, thanks for commenting. Please keep reading and feel free to share your thoughts. Where do you live?
